2025 Fall Semester On-Campus Scholarship Notice

This notice applies to undergraduate students enrolled at the Sejong Campus.

 

1. Eligibility

A. Students enrolled in the 2025 Fall semester who have applied for National Scholarship Type I (with income level assessment completed).

B. However, the following scholarships can be applied for regardless of National Scholarship application

1)  Korea University Family Scholarship (only one undergraduate student per family may apply in the same semester).

2)  Somang (Hope) Scholarship.

 

2. Application Period and Method

A. Application Period: October 1, 2025 (Wed) 10:00 – October 31, 2025 (Fri) 16:00

1)         Applications must be completed and submitted before the deadline

2)         Submissions after the deadline will not be accepted due to system errors, so please be punctual.

B.     Application Method: Portal (KUPID) → Tuition/Scholarship → Scholarship Application menu

(If uploading files, PDF or JPEG formats are recommended.Files requiring handwritten signatures must not be uploaded in HWP (Hangul Word Processor) format)

 

3. Important Notes

A. On-campus scholarships are awarded only within the limit of tuition fees (except Disaster Relief Scholarship, which is a study support grant).
B. Dream Scholarship: Need-based scholarship (for students in income levels 1–8).
C. Students exceeding the standard duration of study may only receive the Disaster Relief Scholarship.
D. For double majors, the first two semesters are considered within the regular study period.
E. Tuition support scholarships can be received concurrently within the scope of individual tuition fees.

Example) Tuition fee = 3,560,000 won, National Scholarship (Type I): 1,000,000 won, Miraero Scholarship: 1,000,000 won, KU Family Scholarship: Instead of 50% (1,780,000 won), only the remaining balance of 1,560,000 won is granted.

 

4. Payment Account

A. Scholarships are deposited into the student’s own account registered in the academic records.
B. Please confirm your account details via Portal (Registration/Graduation → Edit University Registration).
C. If account information needs to be changed, visit your college administrative office or department office.

 

5. Payment Schedule

A. Payment Time: December 2025
B. Payment Method: Either to the student’s bank account or applied directly to student loan repayment.

 

6. Scholarship Details

A. KU Family Scholarship

- Eligibility: Undergraduate student with family members (siblings, spouse, parents, children) simultaneously enrolled at Korea University (including graduate school).

- Amount: 50% of tuition fee.

B. Dream Scholarship

- Eligibility: Undergraduate students within income levels 1–8 who meet one of the following:
① Three or more siblings.
② Students from multicultural families where at least one parent has naturalized in Korea (must submit a Certificate of Naturalization).

- Amount: 50% of tuition fee.
