Korea University Sejong Campus will receive a donation of 1,800kg of new crop rice (90 sacks, valued around 4.95 million won from the Sejong branch of NH NongHyup Bank to support the ‘1000 Won Breakfast’ program.

The ‘1000 Won Breakfast’ is a student welfare initiative that offers a well‑balanced morning meal at a low price to university students who might otherwise skip breakfast. For 2025 fall, it will run for 16 weeks from September 1 to December 19 (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays; a total of 75 days) in the student cafeteria of Veritas Hall. Undergraduate and graduate students may use the service from 7:30a.m. to 9:00a.m.

Yang Jiwoon, Vice President of Sejong Campus stated, “The warm support from a local financial institution is directly enhancing student welfare. We intend to continue developing sustainable models in which the university and regional community grow together.”
