<교육혁신팀>

 

제1조(목적) 이 지침은 고려대학교(이하 ‘본교’라 함) 학생의 학습에 관한 기본소양과 의무를 정함으로써 교육의 질과 효과를 제고하고 품격 있는 학문공동체를 조성하기 위한 규준을 정함을 목적으로 한다. <개정 2025.10.1.>

 

제2조(정의) 이 지침에서 사용되는 주요 용어의 정의는 다음 각 호와 같다.

1. ‘학습자’란 학습을 목적으로 본교에서 이루어지는 모든 형태의 교육활동에 참여하는 학생을 말한다.

2. ‘교원’이란 본교에서 학습자에게 교육을 제공하는 본교의 전임교원, 비전임교원 및 강사를 말한다. <개정 2025.10.1.>

3. ‘학습윤리’란 학습자가 본교 교육과정을 이수하는 모든 과정(강의수강, 과제물 작성 및 제출, 시험, 교원과의 관계 등)에서 지켜야 할 덕목, 태도 및 관련 행태를 말한다.

 

제3조(적용범위) 이 지침은 본교 소속의 교육기관에서 교육을 받는 모든 학습자에게 적용된다.

 

제4조(일반의무) ① 학습자는 대학의 목적과 본교의 교육이념에 따라 성실한 태도로 모든 학습에 적극적으로 참여한다. <개정 2025.10.1.>

② 학습자는 고등교육을 받는 교양인으로서 도덕적 민감성을 바탕으로 창의적 학문탐구에 정진한다. <개정 2025.10.1.>

③ 학습자는 교육활동과 관련하여 교원 또는 동료학생과의 약속을 성실히 이행하여야 한다. <개정 2025.10.1.>

④ 학습자는 교원과 동료학생들의 인격을 존중하고 기본적인 예의를 지킨다.

⑤ 학습자는 학문 공동체의 일원으로서 학문의 진실성을 준수하고, 본교 「AI 활용 가이드」를 성실히 따른다. <신설 2025.10.1.>

 

제5조(학습준비) ① 학습자는 교원의 강의계획안 등을 충분히 탐색하여 자신의 학문 탐구 및 미래 비전과 연결된 교과목을 신중히 선택하여 수강한다. <개정 2025.10.1.>

② 학습자는 매 수업에 적극적으로 임할 수 있도록 수강 교과목의 수업자료를 미리 탐독하고 확인하는 등 성실한 태도로 수업준비를 한다. <개정 2025.10.1.>

 

제6조(출석, 수업방해행위 등) ① 학습자는 정해진 수업에 결석하지 않도록 최선의 노력을 다한다.

② 학습자는 지각을 하거나 수업 진행 중에 나가는 행동을 함으로써 동료학생들의 학습권을 방해하지 않는다.

③ 학습자는 출석과 관련하여 위계행위(예: 대리출석)를 하지 않는다.

 

제7조(학습태도) ① 학습자는 모든 수업 활동에 주도적으로 참여하며, 교원의 수업 내용을 적극적으로 이해하도록 한다. <개정 2025.10.1.>

② 학습자는 적극적으로 수업토론에 참여하고 질문에 응하여 교과목에 대한 이해력과 통찰력을 발달시키기 위해 노력한다. <개정 2025.10.1.>

 

제8조(과제) ① 학습자는 과제수행을 위한 충분한 시간을 확보하여 창의적인 결과물이 나올 수 있도록 노력한다.

② 학습자는 스스로 성실하게 작성한 과제를 제출해야 하며, 인용한 모든 자료(책‧논문‧인터넷 자료, AI 등)는 변조‧왜곡 없이 출처를 정확히 표시하고, 교원이 안내한 AI 활용 방침을 준수한다. <개정 2025.10.1.>

③ 학습자는 협동학습의 경우에 자신이 맡은 부분을 책임감 있게 완수하여 다른 팀원에게 폐해를 주지 않고 팀 전체가 만족하는 결과물이 나올 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다한다.

 

제9조(시험) ① 학습자는 교과목에서 요구하는 시험의 목적과 의미를 인식하고, 충분한 시간을 들여 시험을 준비한다.

② 학습자는 시험에서 부정행위를 위한 보조물을 사용해서는 안 되며, 다른 학습자들로부터 도움을 요청하거나 강요하지 않는다. <개정 2025.10.1.>

 

제10조(강의평가) 학습자는 교과목의 질 향상을 위해 강의평가에 성실히 참여하며, 우수한 점과 개선이 필요한 사항을 충실하게 서술한다. <개정 2025.10.1.>

Learning Ethics Guidelines

Article 1 (Purpose) The purpose of these Guidelines is to provide for rules and standards concerning the basic qualifications and obligations of Korea University (hereinafter referred to as the “University”) students to enhance the quality and effectiveness of education and create a dignified academic community. Amended on Oct. 1, 2025

 

Article 2 (Definitions) The definitions of the key terms used in these guidelines shall be as set forth in the following subparagraphs:

1. The term “student” refers to a person who participates in all forms of educational activities conducted at the University for the purpose of learning.

2. The term “faculty member” shall refer to full-time and part-time faculty members and lecturers of the University who provides education to students at the University. Amended on Oct. 1, 2025

3. The term “learning ethics” shall refer to the virtues, attitudes and behaviors that students must observe in all processes of completing the University’s curricula, including taking lectures, completing and submitting assignments, sitting exams, and establishing relationships with faculty members.

 

Article 3 (Scope of Application) These guidelines shall apply to all students receiving education at the educational centers of the University.

 

Article 4 (General Obligations) (1) Students shall actively participate in all learning activities with sincerity, in accordance with the purpose of tertiary-level education and educational ideology of the University. Amended on Oct. 1, 2025

(2) Students shall devote themselves in a creative quest for learning with moral sensitivity as educated individuals pursuing higher education. Amended on Oct. 1, 2025

(3) Students must faithfully fulfill commitments they have made with faculty members or fellow students with respect to educational activities. Amended on Oct. 1, 2025

(4) Students shall respect the personality of faculty members and fellow students and observe common courtesy.

(5) As members of the academic community, students shall uphold academic integrity and faithfully comply with the University’s AI Utilization Guidelines. Newly inserted on Oct. 1, 2025

 

Article 5 (Preparation for Learning) (1) Students shall sufficiently explore the syllabus of each course prepared by the responsible faculty member and carefully select and take courses in alignment with their academic pursuits and future vision. Amended on Oct. 1, 2025

(2) Students shall sincerely prepare for classes by reading and studying class materials of the course in advance to ensure they can actively participate in each class. Amended on Oct. 1, 2025

 

Article 6 (Attendance and Class Disruptions) (1) Students shall endeavor to the utmost to attend scheduled classes.

(2) Students shall not disrupt fellow students’ right to learn by being late for or departing during class.

(3) Students shall not engage in misconduct related to attendance, including proxy attendance.

 

Article 7 (Learning Attitude) (1) Students shall proactively participate in all class activities and strive to comprehend the content of teaching delivered by faculty members. Amended on Oct. 1, 2025

(2) Students shall endeavor to develop understanding and insight regarding the course content by actively participating in class discussions and responding to questions raised during class. Amended on Oct. 1, 2025

 

Article 8 (Assignments) (1) Students shall endeavor to ensure sufficient time to complete assignments and produce creative results.

(2) Students shall submit assignments they have faithfully and independently completed, accurately cite all reference materials used (including books, research papers, Internet materials, and AI materials) without falsification or distortion, and comply with the AI utilization policies instructed by faculty members. Amended on Oct. 1, 2025

(3) In cases of cooperative learning, students shall strive to achieve results that satisfy the team they are part of, without hampering other team members, by responsibly completing the part assigned to them.

 

Article 9 (Exams) (1) Students shall recognize the purpose and significance of the exams required by the course

they are taking, and spend sufficient time preparing for exams.

(2) Students shall not use aids that give rise to misconduct in exams, nor seek or coerce assistance from other students during exams. Amended on Oct. 1, 2025

 

Article 10 (Course Evaluation) Students shall participate diligently in course evaluations to improve the quality of courses, thoroughly specifying both strengths and areas requiring improvement. Amended on Oct. 1, 2025

These guidelines shall enter into force on March 1, 2013.
